The Education Department of the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly organized a one-day retreat for officers of the department at Accra Girls SHS on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. The retreat was intended to foster team building, allow for strategic planning, and enhance professional development of the staff. Presentations delivered include 1. preparation of action plans, 2. writing minutes of meetings, 3. preparation of reports on activities and4. filing, and administrative systems. The program was facilitated by seasoned personalities such as Mr Sam N. Dzanku (former planning officer GES GreaterAccra) Mr. Harry,(ANMA) Mr Anthony Delanyo Abotchie (ANMED) Mrs Judith Amoateng Ennin, (Municipal Director of Education Ayawaso West) and Mr Emmanuel Kofi Techie.(Municipal Director of Education Ayawaso North) Participants had practical sessions on preparing action plans, among others. The retreat, which was sponsored by the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly, is expected to enable officers to perform better, having been trained on new templates for action plans and reporting. Some dignitaries from assembly, including Mr Jamani Dramani (Coordinating Director ANMA) and the team, were present to officially close the session. In all, 60 participants from Ayawaso North Municipal and West Education Directorates participated in the program
